Wow .

After reading Ashley's reflections on the NHD from last year, it gave me the most important advice out of all advices I got for everyone else. When you start doing a project for the NHD competition, you start to lose focus on other classes, the tasks and homeworks the teachers assigned you with. And then this results in skipping classes, failing grades, lateness to school/classes and many other things. I didn't even think about that I would start to focus on the project for NHD completely and lose focus on all the other things that are still important and still there. Whatever you do, do not just focus on just the project, focus on the other things too, such as classes, tasks and things that are important, I mean, the NHD project is still imporant, but do you really think you would do real good and do all the work for one little competition--what do you get? Nothing? Only if you don't win. I mean, there is a full scholarship you can win if you make it to the nationals, but its real tough to make it there. I gotta thank Ashley for posting her reflections on the NHD from last year.
